Molub-Alloy Gear Oils |
Molub-Alloy Gear Oils were developed for the lubrication of
enclosed gears. They are available in eight ISO- and AGMA-
Viscosity grades. Molub-Alloy Gear Oils meet the requirements
of API GL-4. Molub-Alloy Gear Oils self-lubricating solids of
suitable grades are treated to increase their natural positive
affinity to metal surfaces and are completely dispersed to
assure a high protection against wear during the lubricants full
working life |
Recommended for the application in spur and herringbone gearing
as well in straight or spiral toothed bevel gears. They are
especially used for heavy duty and shock loading where extreme
pressure characteristics are needed.
Molub-Alloy Gear Oils are available in following viscosities:

Molub-Alloy General Purpose Oils |
Molub-Alloy GP Oils are manufactured from mineral base oils
selected to meet the most critical requirements for industrial
applications, including excellent viscosity-pressure (load)
relationship and a low residual carbon content. Metallic
lubricating solids that have a natural affinity for metal
surfaces and are of select grade and size are specially treated
to remain effectively dispersed throughout the extended life of
the oil. These oils are additionally compounded to inhibit
oxidation and to protect against rust and corrosion. GP Oils
further feature anti-foam agents to prevent foaming |
Molub-Alloy GP Oils are used for a wide range of industrial
applications including machine tools, circulation systems and
gear boxes where non-EP gear oils are specified. Appropriate
viscosities of GP Oils are particularly suited for
air-compressor operation. Not only is their potential for
carbonaceous deposits negligible, but they protect against
cylinder wear with minimal application of oil.

Molub-Alloy 240 HT is an elevated temperature grease applicable
in ball and roller bearings and bushings, where mineral base oil

conveyors for tunnel ovens or other high temperature service.

369 contains a high concentration of MOLUB-ALLOY solids in a
volatile carrier liquid with excellent creeping and wetting
characteristics. After evaporation of the carrier liquid a dry
adhesive film of solid lubricants remains on the metal surface |

Molub-Alloy 491 C Special Lubricant |
Molub-Alloy 491 C is a lubricant especially designed for
applications in heavy industry where due to the prevailing high

MOLUB-ALLOY solid lubricants is evenly floating in the base
fluid water. These solid lubricants have a good affinity to
metal surfaces. After a relatively thin dilution of Molub-Alloy
491 C at the beginning, it can be further diluted step by step

For injection and extrusion molding of aluminium as well as for
the lubrication of molds in the glass and rubber industries
(separation of surfaces in tire molds), the lubrication of
bearing saddles between gear rim and outer casing of -chemicals- and
lime kilns. For normal operating processes which require a
disassembly of tight fitting elements as well as for friction
surfaces subject to very slow and discontinuous rolling motions
and a constant thermal stress of more than 150 °C. After mixing
with water the fluid can be applied by brush or by directly
