Sulclan Coal

Having supplied coal to clients since 2005 we are in an ideal position to provide all levels of coal at competitive prices and in tonnages to help the smallest business to the large corporate and overseas buyer.

Sulclan Coal has also entered into an agreement with a International Seller of RB1 coal out of Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT) for the exportation of Grade A Steam Coal. This service is available to international buyers only. Due to the current demand for quality export coal tonnages may be limited from time to time. Spot and contract sales are available.

We also currently supply coal to businesses applying for tender work in South Africa coal, and enter into contracts for the supply of coal into Power Stations locally.

The coal we sell includes Grades A, B and C, Duff, ROM, Boiler Peas, Anthracite, Metallurgical Coke, Foundry Coke, Steam Coal and Slurry. Coal sold comes principally off South African mines although we can provide coal from Zimbabwe if this is a preference of client.

In the event that clients do not wish to export RB1 coal (for example, anthracite) we have secured allocation slots out of Richards Bay which is available to all clients who wish to take up this opportunity as well. As everyone in the coal industry knows, slots are extremely difficult to come by so serious clients needing such slots are welcome to speak to us about using these port facilities.

Interested parties are asked to click on the Contact Us (Coal) tab below and email us their requirements. Please ensure that you include specs, coal type (RB1, Grade A etc), tonnages and all other pertinent information in the mail so that we can action your enquiry with the minimum of delay.

Kindly note – we sell BULK only. No enquiries under 30 metric ton accepted or responded to.
